I'm going to visit my husbands co-workers chickens at lunch (in 1 hour). Her chickens were attacked by two dogs. I'll be showing her how to clean the wounds and such. I wanted to give her some rooster booster for the rest of her flock...just to give them a little boost after the stress of the dog chasing them and spending a day hiding instead of eating.... My dilema is it says to put 1oz in 16 galons of water and I need to know how much to give in ONE gallon of water...preferably in tsp measurements. Anyone have a quick answer? THANKS IN ADVANCE! Sandra
I asked a similar question here about vitamin and electrolyte mixing.. Got 3 answers here all a little different. I called the co. that makes the mix and she gave me a fourth.. Soooo. I tried what the co. told me and found it gave the chicks real runny poop. Now i've cut that in half and only give it every other time i change water.. Poop problem getting better. Point is call manufactures then adjust according to the birds reaction. Good Luck
