We have had this guy for over a year. We got him a few days old as a barn yard mix. We still aren't 100% on his breed. He has a little black on his tail feathers but otherwise his colors are show in the photos. Ignore the weird feather flap on the left side of his head (a coon dog hopped into my chicken pen when he was a young rooster and killed most all of my chickens and he was injured while trying to get the hens to safety. It healed weird and and it doesn't bother him).

Also he has 5 toes

But yes any ideas on breeds? I understand he is possibly mixed but wasn't sure on any breed ideas

do you think a Maran & Buff laced polish mix would sounds about right then?
Yes, definitely. Buff laced Polish have a gene called dominant white. That gene covers most black feather pigment, and it was passed on to that rooster, which is why he has so little black in his plumage. I also see that he has a little leg feathering, which would come from a Marans parent.

To me he looks like a salmon favorelle cross with a crested Swedish flower hen rooster. Going by the beard, head feathers, tail shape, chest pattern.
