Rooster Breed?

Any guesses on what kind of rooster is this handsome fellow? He's lives on a college campus, and looks very healthy for living on his own.

Looks like a Red pyle game. I don't know much about them but he looks like them if you google it

Yes, I thought he could be an Old English Red Pyle Game as well and sent some links to pictures of them. That started the idea of naming him "Gomer".
Since I am new to chickens, I wasn't sure what breed he was and wanted some expert help. Much appreciated!
