Rooster chasing my hens.

Update on my rooster and my new flock! The rooster in the morning when I let them out gets excited and starts chasing my younger hens around and I was worried he was scaring them off or trying to kill them. But I watched him the other day and he finally caught one of my 12 hens and he just wanted to mate with her and now she hangs out with him all the time. The others still run away but he is working hard to prove he can protect and provide for the hens. But the new hens i brought are the real bullies and keep the young hens away from the feeders. They gather in the barn together but when I feed them they want to be the only chicken at the feeder. I'm thinking it will get better just waiting to see. I also would put pictures up but I can't figure out how to do it through mobile phone android
