Rooster Chat

@cluckcluckluke - love the pics of your Roosters, the last one of the leghorn is awesome.

Thank you so much.

Sorry, no experience with that No Crow collar.
Although one friend said it didn't work at all for her rooster, so she just made her own.

I did try to get one, one time, but thinking about it, it isn't very nice for them.

My Fester and Lurch both crow. Fester is more apt at it while Lurch is still trying to figure it out. Poor lil Pugsley just chatters non stop and watches the other two guys.I hope to add a second coop and a string of BJG next year and if it happens then Fester is going to get a giant brother.

Do you think my Leghorns spurs need trimming? He doesn't attack anyone, so it's not a problem there. I am just wondering if the hens are suffering a bit when he mounts them?

We have One. Hw was to have been a she, we picked out 2 girls of the silver laced Wyandotte breed and named them Thelma and Patty. Well at least the Roo was named Patty! We tell everyone he is an Irish rooster. They are only about 5 months old and He has just realized he is a boy. And BOY does he let everyone know it!

Here he is
