Rooster Crowing Question...

Mine start around 5:15 unless something sets them off the other night there must have been something around that didn't belong the rooster started in and the dogs began barking but there was nothing to see but it could have been a neighbor coming home late as I live off a dark dirt road

mine dont usually crow til I let them out of the coop. so If I dont let them out til 8 they dont crow til then. My neighbors on the other hand starts in at 4 in the morning every morning, and doesnt quit til dark.

My 6 year old little red banty sleeps right outside in a pine tree. We hear him crowing sometimes 1, 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning! And any other time of the day too! My DH says he's the LAST rooster we're ever going to have!

I guess I should not complain about Arlo not crowin g anymore!

My youngest roo starts about 4:30, the older roo chimes in about 5 -- so from 5 till about 7:30 they take turns crowing. then they crow throughout the day when the feeling hits them. sometimes they will do one last duet at roost. i love to hear them crow doesn't bother me at all.
