Rooster crows constantly.

Let him go. Go to someone else, go to freezer camp, go to the garden. I like roosters, but they have to meet my terms. I like an occasional crow. My coop is a distance from my house. If I had a rooster close by, that crowed all the time, he would be done.

also experienced that the younger roos just finding their voice like to crow alot. In maturity they crow for alerting. so if you do have air/ground wild life lurking about stalking out your property, they will come awake and sound off.

Some roosters just like to crow. But in my experience the younger roosters crow forever, like they discovered their voice and want the whole world to know. Then my older roosters know to only crow in the mornings or to warn of dange

This is so reassuring to hear! Came to look for reasons my boys like to crow ALL day long. Hopefully they’ll settle down as they get older.

Let him go, either cull yourself, or let someone else have him. What I see in your post, is
  • this is a flockmates rooster, they often don’t turn out,
  • do not wait for him to ruin keeping chickens for your daughter, he is very much more apt to attack her first.
  • Excessive crowing while around you is an early sign of aggression.
  • Do not keep a bird that causes problems with your family or the neighborhood
