Rooster crows over & over all day even with no other roosters around.

Ok so our alpha rooster Rocky is known for his crow, but lately he has been crowing an insane amount. Not just that his "favorite" spot to do it is right by our bed room window. I know that he crows to make himself known as the alpha, but all my other rooster don't even crow(well 1 does but like twice a day). He's gotten worse, seriously he must crow about 6-10 times every HOUR! When I keep him penned up he doesn't as much, but I feel bad having all my chickens roam free except him. Any advice??

Its a rooster they crow constantly. Both mine crow all day long. My neighbors and friends roosters crow all day long. At the fair they crow all day long. Its a rooster they crow all day long. Its not just about being the alpha its about saying hey I'm over here your better think twice before coming over here. This is why some places ban you from having roosters because they crow all day long.
