Rooster damage

Not sure if this was the right section for this, but I have multiple hens with bare patches near their tail base from rooster damage. Suggestions for the best/easiest way to reduce? Has anyone tried painless peepers? I have used saddles in the past with success but hoping to deal with 1 rooster vd multiple hens. Thanks.

Are you certain that it's rooster damage and not feather pecking/plucking?

Not 100 percent but all are missing feathers in exact same area and had none missing before we got the rooster so thinking it’s that. It looks exactly like all the pics anyone has posted here of it. I’ve had my chickens 10+ years (not all the same ones as now) and they’ve never had consistent missing feathers in this area like this.

It is something that all your hens have it.....I hope you find out what cause it.

I do not have a rooster and 2 of my hens have feather damage. One is at the end before the tail area, and one is on both of her wings. I still don't know what cause it. I have not seen anyone pecking at those 2. Still looking.

How many total?
How many females and how many males?

Pics would help here of everybody and feather damage.
