Rooster died.

Why would my beautiful, big 7 month old Barred Rock rooster just DIE?!! I’m heartbroken and have no clue what happened to him. He was fine at evening check and the next morning he was dead. Thanks for any feedback. Paula

Sorry for your loss. Usually sudden death in apparently healthy birds is the result of a non contagious situation. Something like a heart attack or some congenital defect.
