We have 3 hens and 1 rooster.
Rooster is a BO.. one hen is a BO. Other 2 are white something..

Well, Roo is in the mood for love..Jumps on white hen and has sexy time. BO hen runs up to him and pecks his butt feathers until he jumps off the hen. I was laughing so hard I allmost pee`d myself.I guess she is jealous..

.What made it so funny, is that as soon he grabbed her by the neck ,BO hen ran as fast as she could and gave him a good whack.

That happend not once but 2 times within 1 hours time. First time he lost feathers from the neck.. second time his butt lost some feathers.

The BO hen is named Henrietta .Henrietta doesnt appreciates him messing around I guess..

Oops, best change that wh--- word. This is a family friendly forum.
Second, are you sure the BO hen is really a hen? I mean does she lay eggs and all? Sounds like something the head (alpha) roo would do when his subords. try to mate.

I changed it.. lol oopsies

But yes.. She is a hen..
She , in fact gave me my very first egg..
Thats why I thought it was so fuunny when I seen her doing that to him.It might be also because we got her after other 2 chicks got killed and she was alone with the Roo for like 2 weeks before we added 2 more chickens to him and her. I dont know, really.

It just tickled us pink .
I am thinking I will take my cam out there tomorow and see if i catch it on film.

Here is Henrietta

You're right it is terribly funny.

I have a hen that body slams my roo if he even looks at her wrong. He's scared of her and she's yet to lay a fertile egg.

I have 8 laying hens that are about 8 months old. We introduced some 3 and a half month old upstart roosters into the mix, and they were all over the hens all the time, but they were too young to figure out what to do so they really just swung the hens around and acted like brutes. The hens got sick of this REAL fast, so when a roo would start his 'roo-tine', a fellow hen would run over and pound on him till he ran off. They would save each other like this all the time. (We caged the roos to put a stop to it, by the way.)

We have one BO hen that is just over a year old, and our only rooster is about 5 months old. He does fine with his 12 girls from his age group, and my one less dominant hen.

However, my husband saw him mate the Buff and she gave him the exact same full-on Ninja, legs in the air attack after he was done.

Don't mess with Queen Honey!
