That's good news. Maybe now that you have a leg up on him you can maintain status.

Yes and if I push on his back he just squats then walks away, no sign of him wanting to peck when I do that. His attitude is pretty docile, he may have just got a stay of execution.Great, hope it continues!
Does he get out of your way when you walk thru the run?
I have a jerk roo too that I think next Thursday(trash day) will decide his disposition.
To date I have tried, picking the jerk up an holding it(to no effect) to holding it down(worked for almost 8 hours). This last hold down involved pulling out 8 or so feathers from its comb as it decided to run off. He runs from my feet but can't help himself whenever he thinks he has the upper hand like when he comes into the house. He is only 6 months old but I am really tiring of this and beginning to think he is better off going out with the trash than me trying to correct him any longer. Spurs are just starting to grow in and I am not willing to deal with injury to preserve this little guy's life.
Glad to hear that Henry might have changed his ways, but mine seems to have a lower IQ.
Sure can, my wife want's me to get a tie-out system for him. They can surly try ones patience for sure. Can you isolate him from the rest of the birds?

Awesome to hear. I've forgotten if you mentioned this previously but do you know his age? I'm thinking mine is just experiencing raging hormone issues with those spurs just beginning the horning out process they are possibly in the 3/16th" size now but not sharp at all.Just an update on Henry, seems 4 nights out on your own and one with snow and sleet on your back make a new Henry. It's just so peaceful now I'm glad we came to an agreement finally. I've changed his name back from Coq au Vin to Henry... for now.
