hi to all first time poster long time reader so i hope i don't mess this up. here goes
my neighbor has just come to me for advice both of us have some chickens and a rooster. but her problem is that her rooster has gone blind when she got him first he was fine. but then one day she noticed him walking into stuff and not really coming out of the coop for long periods, only to feed which seems to take ages for him to find the feed tray and water then he pokes his way back into the coop he's been this way for over a week now but what i'm wondering is could he have caught some disease which could spread to the hens or what could cause this and more importantly can it be cured . to look at his pupils they're not defined like the others and his eyes have a kind of grey haze over them . i hope i can help him i don't want to have to put him down.
