So...in other words...pretend the rooster is your husband and there's some project you really, really, really need him to finish.

My children have been warned too....the boys can protect themselves but my three yr old daughter is the one I worry about! We even warned the neighbor because he loves our chickens and he feeds them scraps sometimes and we didnt want him being caught off guard!

HEE HEE.. My recently acquired Banty Rooster, Hamlet, decided to attack my foot while I was in the coop.. Wrong thing to do!

.. I smacked him a good one and sent him flying! He gives me way everywhere, now.. DEMAND RESPECT! I felt bad later, but He drew blood, and I like you have GrandKids here.. So..
