Rooster got in fight and is injured

Shoot any roosters that come into your yard. Easy fix. Cause it’s gonna keep happening.
We are putting up an 8 foot privacy fence and hope that will keep most of them out. I have read that 6 foot is the norm but we are going 8 foot so that our few chickens can at least run around their own yard without fear of having to fight.

You and your neighbor both have gamefowl huh? Not a good idea for your neighbor to let that one roam around like that.
Skip the blue kote and just use neosporin on his feet and spurs. It’ll all heal up after some time.
If he has an injury that is red, the BluKote will help prevent the other chickens from picking at it. Neosporin (sp) won't do that.

My neighbor lets his chickens roam everywhere. Mine are in their coop and caged in area. There is one particular rooster of his that does not like one of my roosters and he is constantly trying to fight him through the chicken wire. Yesterday the rooster that roams started fighting my rooster through the wire and I was not around. When I got back they were still fighting. I have no idea for how long but there was blood everywhere. It was splattered on my house and all around the coop. I ran off the aggressive rooster and got mine out of the coop. He has some damaged toes. It looks like he has two toes that are just hanging. I sprayed blu kote on his feet and took him inside the house to rest. He can stand but won't walk for long. I let him rest last night but I really need to clean him up. Upon inspection of him yesterday he didn't appear to have any other injuries other than his comb.

He is very spry but not moving a whole lot. I can imagine he is very sore. He is eating and drinking. I gave him a bowl full of his feed and mixed in a little honey and he ate it all. I am getting ready to attempt a luke warm bath to get all the blood off his head area and try to see his toes better. I have saline solution to clean them with. I have a little heater on low with him to keep him warm.

Is there anything else that I should be doing? Does my boy have any hope? I have got to do something with the aggressive rooster. My neighbor hardly feeds his chickens and I end up doing all that. This particular rooster is getting to where he will jump on our back when we are trying to feed them. Something has to be done.

Please let me know any advice!
As for the aggressive rooster, he could just disappear. Into the crockpot. The owner probably won't even notice he's gone.

I hate to shoot them. We are such animal lovers. I really wish I could just have the authority to give them to one of the farmers that we found. We got started with chicks with his orphans. There was a bunch of 8 babies that lost their mother when they were about a week old. He said to leave them outside by themselves and they would be fine. We got them and that is our main flock. There were 4 roosters in the bunch and we had to get rid of all but one. If we could just get his to someone that will take care of them these problems would stop.

Exactly! There is one hen that has 11 right now that was born last week and another one that has 7 that was born a couple weeks ago. The hens are constantly trying to dig holes around our coop to get the babies food I am assuming that is in the coop. We feed them but they forage all day. There were 12 but the mama managed to get her babies into our coop the other day and we heard the commotion and tried so hard to get them all out but one of our hens killed one of the babies. We were distraught. I had to research that to make sure it was normal for a hen to kill a baby. It is just a mess. We are planning on buying a small farm next year (if everything goes as planned) and I worry all the time what will happen to all these other chickens when we are gone. No one else feeds them. It is sooo sad.

No he shouldn't and we have even found farmers that would take them all in and he refuses to give them up. It is ridiculous. Last year we had over a 100 chickens running the neighborhood. We did get him to give up some of them but he wouldn't give them all away and now there are babies everywhere so it will only start again.
Can you call animal control about the situation?

I have chickens that can fly 13ft, so you may still have somewhat of an issue.
