He shouldn't have chickens then.He was actually an orphan from our neighbor. The neighbor literally has chickens running all over the area. He refuses to pin them because he doesn't want to feed them. This one lost his mom when he was a baby and we took him in. The neighbor does have game roosters and those are the ones that are roaming all over the place.
Maybe you can call animal control or something? I understand people (including myself) who occasionally let their chickens free range and sometimes they get in the neighbors yard, but never cause nah fighting and the neighbors don’t mind, but I think that your neighbor is not choosing wise actions. He needs to feed them as well.He was actually an orphan from our neighbor. The neighbor literally has chickens running all over the area. He refuses to pin them because he doesn't want to feed them. This one lost his mom when he was a baby and we took him in. The neighbor does have game roosters and those are the ones that are roaming all over the place.
We know but don't know what else to do. Other neighbors have complained too and even called animal control but they say there is nothing that can be done. There are two hens running around with babies too. Every year we go through this. By the end of the summer we will have 50 chickens literally at our house trying to get fed because the neighbor won't feed them. Ours are in their own coop.Your neighbor should not be letting their chickens roam free to if it causes fighting.
Shoot any roosters that come into your yard. Easy fix. Cause it’s gonna keep happening. He was actually an orphan from our neighbor. The neighbor literally has chickens running all over the area. That’s so sad! I really hate it when people want something (like eggs) from chickens but don’t want to spend any money feeding them.We know but don't know what else to do. Other neighbors have complained too and even called animal control but they say there is nothing that can be done. There are two hens running around with babies too. Every year we go through this. No he shouldn't and we have even found farmers that would take them all in and he refuses to give them up. It is ridiculous. Last year we had over a 100 chickens running the neighborhood. We did get him to give up some of them but he wouldn't give them all away and now there are babies everywhere so it will only start again. He shouldn't have chickens then.
