Rooster got little chick help?

I'm glad she's doing ok. I never had that happen and don't have enough chicken knowledge to be able to answer that . If it were me I just keep letting the air get to it and keep using the antibiotic ointment . Eventually it should stop . If you try to wrap her head in a little gauze to try to stop the bleeding make sure you use enough ointment that the gauze won't stick to her. I think the air getting to it is the best thing but maybe someone with more knowledge can answer . Sorry I can't be of more help but I'm glad she's hanging in !

I got the bleeding to stop but now she has another problem. One of her jaw bones is sticking out.

if you click on the pic it's the little white pointy thing sticking out of her skin.

Unless you want to pay to take her to a vet I think you're doing everything you can. If she's eating and drinking ok that's great! Any chance of that not being a piece of bone and being a broken off feather quill ?

I'm sorry I'm at a loss maybe someone else will post something that will help you with that. So far I think you're doing a great job with her . Keep doing what you're doing she certainly doesn't look worse . Time will tell. Good luck and keep updating her status .

I have a baby chic that got all feathers plucked off her back and I saw where people said to use blu kote, ordered some off amazon because our local stores website says they don't carry it, haven't used it yet, should be here tomr

5 days later and she is starting to look like E.T. the hole where the bone kept popping out of scabed over so no bone can come out. The only good thing that came out of this is one tame little chicken.
