My barred rock roo has the same problem even though the coop is not drafty. Recent temps in northern Mass/southern Vermont were horrible though. I have started to apply green goo to his comb. May be too late but might help in future.Happy New Year, everyone!
My Barr Rock rooster has this very painful and nasty looking comb. He kept shaking his head while walking around. At first I thought he got a bad frostbite but when his comb turned yellow I got worry. Maybe he got some kind of fungal infection ? What do you think? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
