Rooster has big black dot coming out of his comb!! Help

Hi guys my rooster is 6 months and he recently started growing a bump on his comb I have no idea what it is. I purchased him from a local farmer and he had that dot when I brought him but since the guy had him with other roosters I though it was a blood scab. If y’all know what it could be plz let me know I’ll add pictures.

any time I see black scabs on combs, I think first of "dry" foul pox - particularly if they are on a bird recently obtained from another source. Watch for signs on new lesions forming. If so, you are in for a slow progression thru the flock, and not much to be done about it.

If it looks like a wart with a black center it’s most likely fowl pox

I woke up to see my red chicken having a bumb on her comb.
