I'm mad at myself for letting it get this bad. I just assumed he was limping because his spurs were too big. He's my first rooster. I rescued him from Craigslist. He's an EE and sweet as could be. He lets you pick him up. Lately he's been limping more and more and I didn't think anything of it. I just assumed roosters walked like john wayne.
I noticed this afternoon his pinkie toes are what looks to be infected? They're not oozing. He also looks to have terrible bumblefoot.
Is there any way to fix this? I guess on the bright side he has about 20 babies out there growing up I'm sure a bunch of them are bound to be Juniors. Poor guy I feel so bad! He's eating and drinking and seems to be in good spirits.
Is there anything I can do or is it too late??
