I have a one year old bantam rooster that has been acting unlike himself. I picked him up and noticed a large red patch on his breast area. The feathers on the patch were thinning around it and on his breast. I was feeling around it and he started to push away like it hurted him. The hens don't seem like they have the same thing so I didn't thing it was mites. I'm not sure though and I didn't want to treat him for the wrong thing. Does anybody have an idea of what is wrong?
