Soaking in Epsom salt, as you've been doing. If he fell and bruised himself, nothing can heal it but time. I've known a few chickens to hurt a leg, limp for a bit, and then go back to normal. That's if nothing is obviously broken. When I've had bumble foot, I've not cut the scab out. I found soaking in epsom salt and then applying neosporin without the pain med included, wrapping it up in vet wrap (or horse wrap) from tractor supply, and they are fine in a week or less. If his feet are just sensitive from being on carpet, time is the cure for that too. Got to build up some calluses.

Okay I will do :)
Sounds excellent thankyou for all your help I'll keep doing this and see where he's at
You suppose it'll take a month?

For my own limping chicken with a hurt leg, yeah, it took a good while for her to stop limping. And a friend's chicken too who fell out of the coop and landed wrong. She was limping for several weeks. Nothing was broken. It was just bruised up and the muscle was pulled a bit. As for toughing up the feet, I'm not sure how long that'll be. I haven't had to deal with that on chickens, just on my own soft hands that weren't used to hard work. Lol.

Does he live inside your home, or is the carpet used to line the chicken coop?

What kind of carpet?

Just a thought, and this is probably unrelated to the foot problems, but carpet pile may challenge him to use his feet and toes differently than he would in a more natural environment, such as pine shavings or a coop and run filled with leaves and pin needles.

Oh okay thank you for all your help
Polyester

We use carpet inside the chicken coop

Oh okay so changing the environment?
