Rooster HATES new chickens? Advice wanted

So, here's some details: We have fifteen chickens total at the moment.
A few months ago, three chicks hatched, and not long after that,
we adopted three rescued chicks from the side of the road.
All six are roughly the same age, probably 4-ish months old now.
All six live separately from our main coop/run, but close, in sight.

Our Japanese bantam rooster, 1 1/2 years old, gets along with everybody-
EXCEPT all these younger chickens!
They've had PLENTY (months!) of face-time, look no touch interaction,
and free-range time, but no matter what,
if ANY of the six newer chickens get anywhere near him,
he CHASES them off, violently.
He's NOT trying to mate, he's trying to drive them off;
this happens every time, without fail.
All of the other chickens don't have nearly as much of a problem
with the newbies, only the usual pecking order stuff,
but our rooster seems to think of them as a threat,
or something to drive off. What is this all about?
Is this fixable, will it continue to be a problem,
has anybody else ever had this issue?

Not boys! All girls, but one. But the rooster treats them all the same;
he drives them ALL off, nothing different whatsoever, behavior wise.

Yeah, I'm wondering if we might have to do that, or at the very least separate him for awhile from everyone else. He's totally normal, good to his girls and indifferent to us, except when it comes to those younger six.
It's totally weird, I'm at a loss at what to do.

I’m having the same exact issue except with one of my hens. All four chickens (two are 4.5 months and the other two are 3 months) sleep In the coop together without issues....finally. However the bully chicken will not let the Littles come out of the coop and into the run. The minute they set foot in the run, she chases them back up the ladder to the coop. They have plenty of space. Bully chicken spent 5 days in “chicken jail” to forget she was a bully. Nothing has worked! I’m hoping once the Littles are bigger that they’ll stick up for themselves...

I'd at least separate him for now, let the chicks integrate with the big girls.
