Rooster having trouble walking (video )

Haha. It’s not mareks. His feet hurt. He’s a gamecock he damn sure don’t need anything for pain for a hangnail and a skinned knee.
Pm me if you have any questions.

Generally gamefowl are far stronger genetic wise than most layers. They don’t go belly up when they get the sniffles like a red star or whatever. If you don’t care for them properly though they will all get sick and bumble foot etc..

Unfortunately I am unable to view the video although I can hear the sound track to it! I am therefore not able to comment on it

Just because your rooster recovered, does not mean he does not have Marek's. I have had several birds completely recover from Marek's outbreaks after a few days or weeks, so that you would never know they have been incapacitated or there was anything wrong with them, but the virus has just gone into a dormant phase and they will be prone to future attacks at times of stress which could be weeks, months or even years later.
That may be true, however, all my chicks were vaccinated against Mareks and it would seem odd to me that only one out of 30 chickens would show signs and symptoms. ??

Thank you so much for the help and will sure pm you if I have any more questions.

Now that I can view it and make comment I have to say that unfortunately it looks like Marek's rather than an injury to me, but only time will tell. He looks to be stressed which often makes Marek's issues worse. Best you can do is a good vitamin supplement and try to keep him calm and well fed.

Not that it can’t be mareks because after all your just looking at a video. Have you ever seen a gamecocks feet after he’s kicked the wire multiple times? They can be cut to pieces and are extremely sore.
As I said it still could be Mareks but there is nothing in that video that stands out as Mareks when he’s clearly said the birds feet were cut up.

Yes he broke his beak pen fighting and did cut his toes a lot. Earlier this year he did go through humble foot and now he just has a scab on one foot and the other is free of bumblefoot he is a year old

I got the impression from this post quoted above that the cut toes are healed and the occurrence of this stumbling does not coincide with those injuries otherwise yes, it would be logical to assume the cause is damaged feet.
It would be helpful if the OP could clarify if the feet have recently been injured and that ties in with this stumbling, or if the feet have healed and this stumbling is subsequent to that??
