My 3 year old Brahma rooster I have noticed is having trouble walking. His legs are super shaky and he spends most of his time sitting down.

I think the cause is he has been overloaded with mites. I got a spray and have been taking care of him for a day now. He is now isolated and has food with water and vitamin b12 in it. I have sprayed him and will continue to do so.

If that’s not it I’m open to hear what other things could cause this so I can help him.

Any idea how long it will take for him to recover/ other treatments that can help him.

Thanks

What is the spray you are using? Mites hatch out every 5 days or so, so I would repeat the treatment every 7 days about 3 times until no mites are seen. Poultry Cell vitamins 3 ml daily for a few days might be something that would help him and give him some iron. Is he eating a balanced all flock feed? Don’t forget to remove his bedding and spray the facilities.

Same rooster as in a December thread?

If so, then he's been having some trouble for a while. In the photos on that thread, it looks like the rooster has Scaly Leg Mites. Apply some NuStock cream to the legs working it up and under the scales of the feet/legs.

If you are finding Mites on the body, those can also greatly affect a bird's overall health.

I agree, I'd give him Poultry Cell. While B12 is o.k., it's just B12 (Cobalamin) whereas Poultry Cell has a greater variety of vitamins/minerals that will offer essential support.
