Rooster help with illness

Whether it was an infection or heat stroke, if he is improving I would keep doing what you are doing.

Do you need help or ideas for providing shade? Do you think that was the issue?
I think heat stroke and I hadn't any idea he wasn't able to c return to his fan cooled coop until it was too late. Shade is forth coming for that area.

How much of the Doxi-tyl are you using? I prefer to use a single antibiotic rather than some of the combos found on the pigeon online sights. Tylosin by itself is good at treating respiratory disease, such as MG symptoms. Doxycycline is a member of the tetracycline family that also can treat, but the dosage is a little hard to determine. Hopefully, your rooster will get better soon. Probiotics or a spoonful of plain yogurt can help once you have completed antibiotics.
