Silkie and a mix of amaricauna/ copper Maran. What type of chickens are they
We are at 6 weeks, and this is her comb.Too young. Post pics of the combs at 6 weeks.
Were these pictures taken the same day as the ones posted above? I'm seeing the same blue blanket, and the chick is not feathered in like a 6 week old chick would be.....We are at 6 weeks, and this is her comb.
I use the blue blanket when I let the chicks out, they seem to like it because it’s warm and fuzzy. And the photos were posted right after I took them. Idk y, but I have noticed that they are not growing their feathers as fast as I was expecting. I have extra protein in their feed to try to help. They get to have free range on warm days. Were these pictures taken the same day as the ones posted above? Yeah, that is really strange. It looks more like a 4 week old chick. I'm not going to try and make a gender guess right now, because if it's slow to feather, that would mean it's probably also slow to develop male characteristics, if it is male. I would wait until it is fully feathered, then post more pics.I use the blue blanket when I let the chicks out, they seem to like it because it’s warm and fuzzy.
