Our school hatched eggs last year and we brought home 33 chicks. We were pretty lucky that it looks like only 10 Roos. We have been having fun trying to identify the breeds, but are not sure about some. I will post pics and what we think they are, but would love to have the expert opinions here.
Barred Plymouth Rock

Not a black leghorn, since they should have yellow legs. Looks more like a Black Andalusian or possibly a Black Minorca.

Black Sex-link

Buff Minorca, Buff Leghorn, or Catalana.

Dark Cornish

Ok, the top not sure Barred Rock or Dom. Second, I am thinking black leghorn due to ears, but legs are dark so I am not real sure about that. Third again barred or dom? Third buff leghorn and the last we are flummoxed. No clue. What do you guys think?
