Rooster In cage?

He'll be perfectly fine as long as he is provided with the necessities of life. :) It may sound awful to some, but I've kept overly aggressive young cockerels in a large, comfortable dog kennel (roost included) for a couple months at a time (occasionally allowing free-range time) until we decided what needed to be done with them. You must do what you need to do considering how rough he is.

That’s just the term used, we know it’s not literal rape.
Words can be important.
'Over-mated' would be a more accurate term.

I crated three 12wo cockerels the other night because they were getting too randy and terrorizing the 7wo pullets that were in dire need of a break.
Took pics of birds in crates and posted for sale on local FB group,
didn't have much hope but within an hour they were gone and I had 10 bucks in my pocket. Lucky for me!!

Then tonite I saw a 7wo cockerel grab a 7wo pullet by the back of the neck,
a more even match but those boys will be segregated out soon too.

Agrees.
It's typical anthropomorphism.
'Rape' is not a term to be applied to animals sexual behaviors.
Domesticated animals should be managed by humans to prevent male competitive behaviors.

They did get managed. They are in my freezer.

I offered my 2 for free. No one wanted them, so I had to pay someone to come over here and butcher them to teach me how to do that.

I knew it was a long shot...but I usually give it a try,
have been lucky before tho not quite that lucky.

They are in my freezer.
That would have been the next step....but I didn't want to setup/cleanup to slaughter just 3....and I have have 6 more to go here in a few weeks.

I know what you mean. I have a few more that I will soon be ready to do something with.
