I have a 7 month old rooster that was supposed to be a chicken from Tractor Supply. I live in a subdivision and need to find it a new home today.

If it's a noise thing get him a no crow collar.

IMO, a no crow collar is inhumane and not always a 100% guarantee they work. A Rooster crows for several different reasons and that is just what they do. Rehoming is a much better alternative given the unfortunate circumstances.

It would be like putting Duct Tape over a persons mouth and nose and then tell them to breath! A little extreme example, but the no crow collar is similar in the fact it has to be tight enough around the Roosters neck to be so uncomfortable and restrictive he does not want to crow.

IMO, I see this as inhumane to do to a Rooster who naturally crows for several different reasons other than make noise and crow for no reason.
