rooster in nesting box?

My rooster goes in and out of the nesting boxes too. I think he is telling his girls what a good job they are doing!!

Well I thought my hen had laid and wanted to get to the egg (last three have been broke) my roo was inside box spinning and makin all kinds of noise (hen was out and drinking) so I shooed him out and boooooy was he ****** OFF he screamed at me continuesly I actually thought my gentle (PERFECT ROOSTER BY ALL ACCOUNTS) was gonna try n peck me lol (he did not) but guess what??? Still no egg in there (broke or otherwise) weird huh?

i looked in my coop today and heard someone in the nesting box making little noises, i looked around and everyone was accounted for but my rooster, so i went in and sure enough he was hanging out in there! any idea why he would be? i shoo-ed him out and there werent any eggs or anything in there, just the egg-like rock i keep in there for them. i thought this was strange! anyone else ever have a roo hang out in the nesting boxes?
