Hi, the heading for this post is for another post that I made sorry about that!! Here is the original post that I made. I don't know how that happened!

Please help! One of my Roosters is pale and down acting and is hard on the bottom of his feet, and is vent area is quite hard like he is impacted!! Any ideas?

Sounds like worms but not sure why a roosters backside would be hard... Epson soak it and try to see, maybe he has pastey butt. He could have vent gleet, wich is caused by pastey. (Just listing out a few things.)

You talked about how you have antibiotics, I would start treating. Take him to a vet if you have, both seem to need it.

Once you clean and trim, take some new pictures ok? That could give us a better look as now it just looks like a fluffy bottem. Does his breathing sound harsh? Whats your flock ratio? Anyone think this might be from over mating? @LaFleche ? Could not find any articles to help.

This guy needs a serious spur trim as he seems to be injuring his own butt with his overgrown spurs.
If he is the one with the "hard butt" the overgrown spurs might be the cause for it.

Other than that, deworm them thorougly using Safeguard or similar dewormer and take care of the mite issue ASAP as poultry mites suck the blood of the chickens leaving them anaemic, pale and lethargic.

The entire coop including all nest boxes and roosts need to be treated as well

When you said that it seems that he might be injuring his own butt with his overgrown Spurs, his Spurs are not long enough yet to hurt himself. I sure am glad I know how to trim Spurs!
