Rooster is havig a hard time walking

Hello!
My neighbor had a straight run of hens and roosters, and two of her roosters got into a fight. One of the roosters was so badly injured that he was quarantined for 3 weeks and was unable to walk. When he began walking, my neighbor asked if we would be interested in taking her rooster because she was afraid that if it got into another squabble, it might not make it out alive. We've been wanting a rooster, so we took it in. It is walking, but it is having a hard time doing so and is taking frequent breaks. When it is walking, it is limping in both legs. It is almost like it is taking giant slow steps. Is there anything that we can do to help the rooster recover more? Is there any vitamins or supplements that will help its legs? It doesn't seem to be in pain, he's just really slow. Thanks!

Any photos or video?
You could give him some poultry vitamins in his water. B vitamins are sometimes helpful for the legs, but it sounds like more injury related than deficiency, but the vitamins won't hurt.
What type of food is he on? You may want to give him some food with extra protein such as a flock raiser/all flock feed (18-20% protein), scrambled/hard boiled egg, tuna or meat to give him a little lift.
How old is he?
Have you inspected the bottom of his feet to make sure he has no bumble foot?
Does he eat and drink well?

Our entire flock is on layer pellets, plus what they get scratching in the yard. He seems to be eating and drinking well, and is about a year old. Below is a picture of how he stands, and he walks the same way, with straight legs.

He's very handsome

Sounds like he has no issues with food/drink which is good. You could try vitamins to see if they help. He may have slipped/injured the tendons in his legs.
I've never seen one walking on tip toes, but maybe someone else will have a better idea.
