I didnt read every post, but I cover the "window" of my coop at night with a pillow case, other than the window, it is small and light tight so very little morning gets through. Does ALWAYS work but I have noticed a decrease in the crowing at 5am.

It is what it is.. tell her that. you have to deal with her dog..........................................................................(when whatever makes it bark) so sweetie, tell her that "although you understand her frustration, there is nothing that you can do". Don't snicker until you get inside the house!!!

I have a neighbor that has 2 dogs that bark non-stop---non-stop.

I am currently listening to a beagle about 2 blocks away drowning out the sound of my ducks fussing that it is time for me to put on my robe and let them out of their pen
