I have not read all the posts, so forgive me if this was already suggested...

My DH snores like a freight train. As much as I love the man - THAT was driving me crazy!! Ear plugs. Soft, squishy ear plugs which have allowed me to sleep in peace.

Include a pack in the yummy eggs you deliver.

My rooster will crow anytime something is bothering him, and if it's real early or late night I believe something is around the coop. Otherwise he crows at the first break of dawn, about 5 or 5:30. No one has complained in my area but I beleive they are legal, and I live on 1 acre. He also crows when he see's me because he thinks I am bringing treats.

A rooster crowing is one of the most peaceful, serene sounds that I know of... (But that's just an old southern country boy's opinion)

I noticed that too!
I love em....but yaaaa knoooow....sometimes i find they can be a little much....especially when they start calling to eachother from across the property....like mine do!
