Rooster leg broken

Hi I’m new to this whole thing but I have a rooster that broke its leg up at my he top of it where it comes out of his body it’s dangling we put a splint in it and put him n dog create and he seems the whole n good spirits but he is wanting his girls he’s crowing and everything but my question is will this heal he is a good size rooster big boy is his name and it fits him perfect just concerned about my boy getting better. His I believe is broken at the sternum keel so I splinted and wrapped it just curious if he his will heal
