My year old Buff Orpington rooster makes a gurgling sort of noise after he crows. Is that him inhaling, or something to be worried about? He's been doing it for most of his crowing life, but it seems to have gotten louder in the last couple of weeks.

Other than that, he seems fine. Good appetite, drinks water, eyes bright, comb and wattles are nice and red, poops look fine, he acts fine.

Thoughts, anyone? Tagging a few who are so knowledgeable here...

Hard to say without a video, but many roosters have a sort of 'after crow'. Sort of like catching their breath.

Agree with the others, but if you are still worried, then get a video - we'll take a listen:)
Good appetite, drinking, acts fine - behavior is a good indicator.
