Rooster making funny sounds - anyone know what it means?

My buddy Charles makes these funny sounds, since he grew up to a cockerel.

My friends and family find it funny because it looks like he was begging for food or something like. In fact, this behavior makes him very lovable to everyone who meet him.

Always gave me a lot of laughs, but also always made me wonder what it could means. I've never seen another rooster do the same thing, which only increases my curiosity. Does anyone have any idea?

Yes, but at first he was younger and was before losing some tail feathers (fighting).
