Rooster missing tail feathers, will they grow back???

I have this Barred rock Roo who was the sole survivor of a bad coon attack a few weeks ago, he's doing fine but minus all of his nice tail feathers. I pulled the deep pin feathers out in hopes they will grow back, will they???, or did I mess up on that part??.

I think they will grow back.
It might take untill he molts again though
