Rooster not acting normal for about a week. Lethargic, fluffed, away from flock, stands still, or just lays down. Bubblefoot??? Please help!

How is he doing?
This morning I wiped his vent, his feathers are covered in white paste but I don't want to try another bath. I put some more cream on his vent. I also gave him some more water and cream with the syringe. It looked like he had begun to have white liquidy poop again when we took him out. There was some green poop kn the crate. He was still not wanting 5o stand and when I left him, he laid down on his food bowl but didnt really try to eat

Is vet care an option at all?

He's not eating/drinking when crated, can you leave him out of the crate with just his food/water?
I don't know. We have cats that have access to the garage so not unless someone stayed with him. He is curling his toes in when he lays down and I am having a hard time getting him to stay standing. His legs kind of try to do the splits. I tried to straighten his toes out but it was difficult. We do not have the money for a vet visit. He went right back to laying down on the corner of the cage to sleep or just rest. I think he ate a little food today while ai was at school. Less poop. I'm really not sure what the toe curling is about. It seems to be worse on his bumblefoot side.

There are antibiotics at my TSC if we are out of options. I can continue the cream for a week but I don't know what to do if it doesn't work. It is expensive and only as a last resort.

I went to check on him one last time before he goes to sleep. I tried to feel for his crop to see hi ow full it was but I couldn't find it. I looked at pictures of where it should be located, but I didnt feel anything. His toe curling appears to be getting worse and I don't know how ai should treat that. I forgot to mention, but earlier as my mom was pulling out of the garage, some of the hens got in and I had to kick them out. When I went back to Megamind, he had walked further towards them and he was laying down. I'm wondering if he misses his flock but I don't want to let him near them and then they get sick. It seems like we still can't figure out quite what's causing this. I'm still going to continue feeding him the cream and rubbing it on his vent but he seems to be continuing in his decline. I understand that he may not make it, but I'm still going to try whatever I can to get him better. After I checked to see how full his crop was, my hands reaked of yeast. I washed my hands about 5 times and they still kind of smell like yeast. Any advice on how to get the smell off my skin? Hopefully we can figure out how to save him before it's too late.🙏 I really wish we could afford to take him to a vet.

When you get a chance, get some photos of that foot again.

If possible, try to open his beak and get photos of the inside of that too.

Let me ask you this. Your hands reeked of yeast but you were feeling of his breast/crop. Are his feathers wet in that area? Can you spread the feathers apart and look at his skin around his breast and his crop - is there any leaking, pus or wounds on his skin?

Wash your hands really well with warm soapy water. If the odor lingers, then you use a little vinegar or lemon juice to wash your hands in to take out the odor.

As for antibiotics, I do see where Carol (@azygous ) has suggested those on your other thread. It would not be a bad idea to have some on hand. The dilemma is which antibiotic would be best to use.
I also understand you are running out of time and that funds are tight. We live in a very tough time right now and I think all of us are feeling it. The LA200 may be o.k. to use if that's all you can get. I know TSC also has Penicillin G. BOTH of these are injectable, so you would have to give him an injection just so you know. Hopefully Carol can chime in with her thoughts on this.

I so very much wish I had answers for you and that he gets better. I know it's very distressing for you to see him like this and I hope you know you are doing your best to take care of him and doing a good job. :hugs Talk to your Mom and see if she can help you with washing him up and accessing his crop too.

Two threads on the same topic simultaneously riles my sense of order. Just so you know.

You really shouldn't try to treat an infection with an antibiotic at the same time as a crop disorder because the antibiotic can make the crop issue much worse. So it's important to try to rule out the crop issue if you can.

If you have to choose between the penicillin and LA 200, I would advise the latter. Penicillin is notorious for aggravating yeast. But the dosage of LA200 is very tricky. Don't jump right into it without getting proper dosing directions.

My formula for getting rid of a bad smell on my hands is washing them with salt and baking soda, scrubbing well, then rinsing.
