OMGosh!! So Funny! We could re-name it "Ven"!! I noticed that when I was recording it and afterwards actually had to tell my daughter to "watch the one sticking it's neck up in the air"!! That crazy chicken.

Or you could call him Edgar, after Edgar Bergen!

UPDATE******UPDATE

So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted! It helped a lot!! We definitely had 2 Roosters! The crowing rooster got louder and LOUDER (still with his mouth almost closed!! LOL!) within a few days of the original post. He went to live on my friend's farm! Her Roo had recently passed away of old age, so he was welcome! Then about 1 week later, cockadoodleDOOOOOOO!! Roo #2 started crowing like crazy!! Morning, Noon and Night!! He went to live on my friend's farm, too. She just loves them both, and we can see them anytime! Thank you for your help everyone!

hi there im new to this site and also new to chickens.it all started when i was given some.was wondering does anyone know if this is a hen or rooster??? only i was told it was a hen but it started crowing..

newbee, you'll have better luck making your own post about it, if you go to the main page of"What breed is this?", in the upper right corner under the search, you'll see "post a new topic".

You'll get a lot more opinions that way, but if it's crowing I'd guess it's a rooster.
