Really, as long as the bird is over 16 weeks, and develops a red comb, it can be any size. A lot of hens do have red combs that size. But it's the male feathering that gives is one away.From my limited experience with BO there is no way with a comb that size it is a pullet.
Here’s my current BO—6 months old and laying for 1 week—and her comb is non existent compared to yours.
