Rooster or hen?

I have this 17 week old black Australop. I was wondering if it’s a hen or a Roo, don’t really let you pet it. Doesn’t squat, when you try to it runs away. No crowing yet. All my other austalorps let you pet them and squat, for me. When I touch the other hens, it just watches you. Im just unsure about this one.

Can you get a clearer pic of the saddle area? Can't see much with the feathering, but I'm going to say pullet. I think a BJG or Australorp cockerel would have bigger comb and wattles than that. I'd still like a saddle pic to be absolutely positive though.

Pullet. She's not squatting because she's just not ready yet

Yup. A pullet. Chickens have both breed-tendencies and individual personalities. My Australorp is very skittish, while the other two (Barred Rock and Rhode Island Red) are more friendly.
