If they are golden comets they are pullets. Cockerels start to feather in white. Where did you get them? What color are their legs.

I got them from Meyer Hatchery, and their legs are a pale orange

If you got them from Meyer, then they are golden buff pullets. Cockerels would have white down and mostly white feathers at this point.

Both are a red sex linked cross. The difference is just in the breeds that are used.

Do you know what breeds are used for a golden buffs? I can only find information on golden comets. Thanks!

Is this diagram a fairly accurate universal determinate? Or is this for a specific breed? That can be very helpful

judging by the fact that chicks are so hard to sex I would give that drawing a 3/10 accuracy lol
