Our Beautiful Bella was supposed to be a hen but we spotted a green sheen to "her" tail and some vivid green just starting to pop under "her" wing. What do you think? If she's a rooster then she's the sweetest rooster ever šŸ˜ so we're happy either way. She'll take pets but she really doesn't like to be picked up or messed with so I've gotten the best pictures I can.

How old? I'm not seeing any male specific saddles and her comb definitely resembles a pullet. Hens do have colorful sheens to their feathers too, they can be blue, green, purple, etc. My black copper Marans hen looks like an iridescent beetle in the sunshine.
I think she's about 10 weeks old. She was a bit of a rescue from guy in a bait shop and he couldn't even give us a breed. She was in a cage under other birds and she looked terrified so we had to take her.

She looks like a hen to me.Has she crowed any? Or has she got on top of any hens? Does she has spurs forming?
No spurs or a anything. She took over as the leader of the flock and she's best friends with another female but no mounting. She doesn't crow but she kinda clucks weird. It's raspy and almost sounds like she's saying "oh my" šŸ˜‚

Thank you everyone for the responses. šŸ˜‚ We were about to rename her Bishop and rethink where we're at on our ratio.
