I have a Yorkie poo that is In a heated love affair with one of our cats...and they switch whose "on top" as well. You'll come in and the at is behind the dog and they both look at you like what?! You walk in a room the next time and now the dog is behind the cat...like stop staring at us...I used to have a rooster and a male guinea who were in love.. and yes. they took turns trying to breed each other (we are 100% positive that both were males).. sadly a fox ended their love affair...
he was asserting himself n the pecking order. This is dominant behavior. As long as no one is getting hurt, there's nothing to worry about.I found this because I just introduced a new male quail into an all male pen. He chased the others around and "mated" with them ....... I don't know what to think
