i would cull them then. there is no reason to keep a mean rooster and you shouldn't breed them as that can be passed down to their chicks (or so everyone says) ours was not mean nut since my parents didn't get the right breed they sold them (they were supposed to be silver laced wyandottes). also watch out for those spurs they can leave a good gash in your flesh if they get the chance to, i would know from past experience, my RIR rooster that i had when i was a lot younger and in 4-h got me pretty darn good on my leg and it was a good deep gash, aggressive roosters are a safety hazard to all so be careful with him.Yes. My bro has one and so do I. They are pretty aggressive. Both roosters attack me. I don't mind because I think it's cute when their ruffs and etc. go up.![]()
But a little kid should NOT mess with a Rock rooster.
