Rooster or hen?

How old is she/he? From the pic it's hard to tell, if at all, but I would tend toward ROO.

What kind of chicken is it and how old is it??

Was the picture taken with a filter or edited? The coloring appears altered -and that is important in judging gender as it appears there are some splotchy brick red areas on the wing, etc which would be an indication of gender if it is an EE as I am guessing it is based on it and the other bird in the pic.

He or she about 6 weeks old, he or she is an EE and I will try for more pics. It did crow this morning or at least it sounded like a crow, but I'm new to chickens.

I'm curious why rooster (I'm newbie)? stance? leg size (can't see legs well)? comb (comb looks small)?

I have some Ameraucanas as well, and the hens do have a small comb, but around this time the Roo's comb will get more red. Mine did not crow at 6 weeks, but I have heard of them trying it out even after 4 or 5 weeks. They truly sound terrible for a little while! It is pretty funny to hear!
