The top cockerel was just a bit slower to develop then the bottom.

Red sexlink pullets are red with some white. Males are white with some red. Since your's is mostly red, it's a pullet.

That's a hen. Roosters are white with some red on the neck and wings, while hens are always red with some white feathers in the tail and wings.

Quick update to original post. Thanks for everyones help and opinions. I was back doing some work around their pen last night and both the suspected rooster starting crowing at me. Guess we're gonna have to find them new homes.

Agreed. I think its the Australorp as well.
