They are 12 weeks and not sure if the or hens or roosters

SLW is a pullet
I'm torn on the other, the lack of feathering and coloration wants me to say Cockerel but I don't have enough confidence either way, never seen one at 12 weeks with such lack of feathering in so I'm torn.

That's a pullet.

Their color is called Wheaten; once they're fully feathered, the males will have black feathers, females will have the brown/Wheaten color yours has.
